On Apr 12, it was reported that the zoo now houses eight Malayan tigers, this was after an 11-year-old tigress gave birth to three cubs on the last day of the second phase of Movement Control Order (MCO).
The cubs, weighing between 700g and 900g, are reported to be stable and good condition. This is the fourth birth of Malayan tiger at the zoo since 2009.
