PETALING JAYA: Students with Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) who applied for entry into public universities (IPTA) and premier polytechnics, community colleges and public skills training institutions (ILKA) can check their application status from July 7.
This involves those who have applied for certificates, foundation and diploma courses for the 2023/2024 academic sessions.
They can check via the official websites of the respective institutions at https://jpt.utm.my, https://jpt.uum.edu.my, https://jpt.unimas.my, https://jpt.ums.edu.my, and http://jpt.umt.edu.my.
Students may also check their status via the Mobile UPUPocket mobile application.
Successful candidates will have to accept the offer between July 8 and 16.
Offer letters will be issued by the respective institutions on July 8 after the candidate has accepted the offer.
Only those who failed to obtain any offer to public universities and polytechnics or are offered certificate courses are allowed to appeal via UPUOnline. Appeals can be made at http://upu.mohe.gov.my before the July 16 deadline.
Appeals for community colleges and ILKA can be forwarded directly to the relevant institution without going through UPUOnline.
All offers made are final. No changing of courses within the institution or between institutions are allowed.
