In a statement, Pos Malaysia said this was under instruction from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) vehicle owners have been given an exemption from renewing road tax during the movement control order as long as the vehicle is insured.

“Following the Transport Ministry’s road tax and driver license renewal exemption for MCO 2.0, licensed drivers may still operate their motor vehicles with a valid vehicle insurance certificate (e-cover note),” read the statement posted on Pos Malaysia’s Facebook page on Tuesday (Feb 23).
