Kuala Lumpur, 16 Feb 2021 (The Capital Post)- Malaysian Indian Congress National Youth Leader Thinalan Rajagopalu has denied that he have made wild and evil accusations against the Menteri Besar of Selangor.
The statement from Secretary of MB Selangor stated that Thinalan made an allegation that the Selangor MB who is also the Sungai Tua area ADUN never channeled any assistance to the Gombak District Churches Fellowship and he needs to withdraw his statement, failure to do so police report will be made against him.
The National MIC youth leader have denied the statement and says “I have never stated that the Selangor MB has denied assistance to the Gombak District Churches Fellowship, and I am confused as to how the Selangor MB officer can issue reckless statements, without any evidence or basis.”
Referring to the earlier sanitation video in Gombak, Thinalan said he was only pointing out about the failure of the Selangor MB to help the Social Services and Community Development Organization of Gombak District, Selangor (PSPK), an NGO that actively helps the B40, the elderly and single mothers through programs training and assistance.
He added, “I did not even touch on the church institution in Gombak as stated by the MB officer and how can Selangor MB officers associate PSPK with Gombak District Churches Fellowship?”.
He also questioned on why the elected representatives need to lodge a police report towards other parties which trying to come forward to raise or express the issues faced by the people to the elected representatives.
“It should be, the MB officer involved must be mature and positive towards the reprimands and needs of the people, and take immediate action in seeking the necessary assistance.”, says Thinalan.
He also demands apologization from the People’s Service Center N16 Sungai Tua DUN and the MB officer for the wild accusations thrown.
“Our focus is on helping the people affected by Covid-19, not playing politics.”, said The MIC National youth leader.- The Capital Post
