Kuala Lumpur, 15 September 2021 (The Capital Post)- The Association of Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) Malaysia is organising a Malaysia Day Youth Forum on 16th September 2021.
The Objectives of this Malaysia Day Youth Forum are to demonstrate and celebrate patriotism, concern and dynamism.
The Forum aims to establish understanding and cooperation between youths from NGOs representing the multiracial, multicultural and multi-religious Malaysian society.
The Forum is also to discuss the challenges faced by the people and the Nation for the wellbeing of the society and the continuous progress of the Nation.
The Forum is co-organised by Majlis Perundingan Melayu, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, Momogun Society of Sabahan, Persatuan Orang Asli Semenanjung Malaysia and friends from Sarawak.
Thus, the Forum will have the participation of youths from various Malaysian ethnicities namely the Malays, Chinese, Indians, Sabahans, Sarawakian and Orang Asli.
GOPIO is a non-sectarian global organization for the 30 million PIO’s spread around the world in about 100 countries. Through cooperation and communication, GOPIO engages in the PIO’s well being.
