PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional is confident that they are able to fulfil their manifesto for the upcoming 15th General Election, says treasurer-general Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein (pic).
“The focus of our manifesto has always revolved around welfare and how our coalition can better protect the people’s welfare, we can’t run away from that,” he said.
Hishammuddin advised the voters to scrutinise the candidate’s manifesto and as “promises” would be thrown around during the campaigning period.
It was also understood that Barisan might introduce new faces but seat allocations had yet to be finalised.
Meanwhile, Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) president Tan Sri Joseph Kurup said the coalition’s manifesto was yet to be discussed in detail.
“We will discuss further, even this morning PBRS gave a few points (to be included in the manifesto),” he said.–The Star
