SHAH ALAM: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has advised the public to exercise caution when visiting Taman Tasik Shah Alam in Seksyen 7.
This follows a Facebook post about the sighting of a crocodile in the area.
“MBSA, through the Health and Environment Department and the Wildlife and National Parks Department, is aware of the issue and is taking further action,” read a notice posted on MBSA’s Facebook page.
In 2019, Tasik Shah Alam, Seksyen 14, was also in the news when a juvenile saltwater crocodile was spotted at the lake’s water pump.
The 0.6-metre-long reptile was found by a member of the public before the Fire and Rescue Department was contacted.
