Covid-19: 78.5% of Malaysian adolescents fully vaccinated as of Nov 11

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 12): A total of 2,472,098 individuals or 78.5% of adolescents, aged between 12 and 17, had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of Thursday (Nov 11), according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Based on the MoH’s data on the COVIDNOW portal, 95.1% of the adult population or 22,258,551 individuals had completed their vaccination. They were among 22,843,780 adults who had received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Overall, a total of 24,730,649 individuals, or 75.7% of the population of Malaysia, had completed their Covid-19 vaccination.

A total of 143,662 doses of the vaccine were dispensed on Thursday, of which 42,888 shots were for second-dose recipients, 8,449 jabs as first doses and the remaining 92,325 as booster doses, bringing the total number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 50,946,620, including 825,497 booster doses.-BERNAMA
