PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported another record high 6,806 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

The previous record was 6,075 infections yesterday.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 492,302.

Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 2,277.
This was followed by Kuala Lumpur (655), Johor (615), Sarawak (608), Kelantan (426), Kedah (417), Penang (362), Negeri Sembilan (291), Perak (248), Sabah (245), Terengganu (233), Melaka (212), Pahang (157), Putrajaya (35), Labuan (17) and Perlis (8).-FMT
