KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 12): The Malaysian Meteorological Department said thunderstorms and heavy rain were expected in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya until 10am on Wednesday (Oct 12).
In its latest Facebook post at 7.10am, the department said thunderstorms and heavy rain were also expected in Penang, Perak Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and Johor.
The areas involved in Perak are Kerian, Larut, Matang, Selama, Kampar, Manjung, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang, and Muallim.
Meanwhile, the affected areas in Pahang were Bentong, Pekan and Rompin, and the affected areas in Negeri Sembilan were Seremban, Jelebu and Port Dickson.
Other areas include Kluang, Mersing and Kota Tinggi in Johor.-The Edge Market
