KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nur Fazura recently filed a police report at the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters (IPD) in Selangor, following alleged defamatory statements made by a woman on Instagram.
Details regarding the defamation are yet to be disclosed.
However, sources from Harian Metro confirm that Fazura reported the incident to address the social media accusations directed at her.
When asked, Fazura commented: “I am unable to share further details at this time.”
She also posted a photo from the Criminal Investigation Department at IPD Petaling Jaya, without specifying the purpose of her visit in her Instagram Story.
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrulnizam Jaa’afar has since confirmed receipt of the report.
