N. Sembilan announces half-month special financial aid for civil servants

SEREMBAN, Nov 27 — A total of 5,379 civil servants under the Negeri Sembilan state administration will receive a special financial aid (BKK) of half-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000 which will be paid at the latest by the second week of January 2021.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun announced the matter when tabling the Negeri Sembilan Supply Bill (2021) 2020, said it was in appreciation of the service of civil servants in ensuring the state administration continue to operate in a challenging situation now.

“As a token of appreciation and thank you to civil servants for serving the government and people, the BKK would be given to all civil servants under the state administration.

“It is hoped the special financial aid would further motivate civil servants to help stimulate the local economy,” he said in the Third Meeting(Budget) of the Third Term of the 14th Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly sitting today.

The Negeri Sembilan government today tabled a budget themed ‘Stimulating the Economy, Empowering the People’ to encompass four strategies and eight focus areas involving an allocation of RM560 million compared to RM457 million in budget 2020.

In this regard, he said the no-interest computer and vehicle loan assistance would be continued for eligible civil servants. – BERNAMA
