Russian news agency TASS has reported Putin will meet Jokowi in Moscow on June 30.

This year, Indonesia is holding the rotating Group of 20 presidency and will host the 17th G20 summit in Bali, in November.

Putin has confirmed his participation in the summit, Jokowi had said recently in a broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel.

The summit will be the peak of the G20 process and intense work conducted within the Ministerial Meetings, Working Groups, and Engagement Groups throughout the year.

Russia’s participation is being closely watch as it is currently in a war with Ukraine since February and Jokowi had emphasised on the importance of ending the conflict.
