JOHOR BARU: Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad (pic) will undergo a 14-day quarantine at his official residence even though he tested negative for Covid-19 twice since he returned from Sabah.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday (Sept 30) night, the Benut assemblyman said that he tested negative when he underwent a Covid-19 test upon arriving at KLIA on Sept 22 and added that he tested negative again on Sept 27.
“However, I have taken the responsibility of voluntary self-quarantine for a 14-day period starting from the date I returned from Sabah,” he added.
The Johor Umno and Barisan Nasional chief, also said that on Wednesday (Sept 30) afternoon, he chaired the state planning committee meeting through a videoconference at the official residence of the Mentri Besar in Saujana here.
Hasni then urged the public to pray that all Malaysians are spared from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. -The Star
