PETALING JAYA: Out of Malaysia’s 21,789,379 total adult population, 93.1% have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine while 79.6% are fully vaccinated as of Monday (Sept 20), according to the Health Ministry’s CovidNow website.
It added that another 289,618 Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered on Monday.
Of the jabs administered, 94,145 people received one dose of a two-dose Covid-19 vaccine while another 195,473 individuals finished their inoculations by either getting both doses of a two-dose vaccine or a single-dose vaccine such as Cansino.
The Ministry also added that the current total number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in the country stands at 40,664,674.
It is projected that the total fully-inoculated adult population will reach the 80% mark by Tuesday (Sept 21). -The Star
