Covid-19: 3,807 cases, 17 deaths today

KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry logged 3,807 new Covid-19 cases today, with Selangor again registering the highest number, followed by Sarawak and Kelantan.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this raised Malaysia’s cumulative tally of infections to 444,484 cases.

Selangor recorded 1,149 cases, Sabah (96), Johor (257), WP Kuala Lumpur (320), Sarawak (649), Penang (245), Negeri Sembilan (144), Kelantan (329), Perak (119) and Kedah (224).

The remaining states recorded two and single digits of Covid-19 cases.

Melaka reported 88 cases, Pahang (77), Terengganu (93), WP Putrajaya (11), while Labuan and Perlis recorded three cases each.

Meanwhile, 17 more deaths were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) today.-NST
