PUTRAJAYA: All those attending the Parliament sitting, including lawmakers, will have to register via the MySejahtera application and adhere to all standard operating procedures, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob (pic).
The Senior Minister (Security) said that only MPs and officers will be allowed to be in the Dewan Rakyat, while media personnel on duty, as well as civil servants can be present in the Parliament building.
Among SOPs that must be practised is the use of face mask, hand sanitiser and ensure social distancing when the House is in session.
“All those present will also have to have their temperature checked before they are allowed to be in the building,” he said on Tuesday (July 7).
The Dewan Rakyat will be in session from July 13 to Aug 27.
