PUTRAJAYA, 18 Feb 2020 – DR Mahathir Mohamad has reiterated he will step down as prime minister after the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in November.

“I am ready to resign (as PM) any time. I promised to resign and I will do so after the APEC meeting,” Dr Mahathir told reporters after launching the Anti-Drug month in Putrajaya today.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is unsure if the transition of power issue would be discussed during the upcoming Pakatan Harapan presidential council meeting
However, he reiterated his decision to relinquish the post after the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit in Kuala Lumpur this November. – Mkini/MalaysiaInsight
