Actor Park Bo-gum injured while filming new K-drama

South Korean actor Park Bo-gum sustained a leg injury while filming an action sequence for the K-drama Good Boy.

A representative from Park’s agency, The Black Label, confirmed the incident in a statement on Thursday (Aug 29).

“Park Bo-gum suffered a minor injury while filming an action scene for the JTBC drama Good Boy and is currently receiving treatment,” the spokesperson said, as quoted by The Korea Times.

Filming has been halted temporarily as the 31-year-old celebrity is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Seoul.

Production is expected to resume once his condition improves.

The news left fans around the world worried about his health.

“Praying for healing and recovery,” one netizen commented.

Good Boy is a drama about the journey of a group of Olympic medalists who are recruited to become elite police officers.

Park portrays Yoon Dong-joo, a former gold medalist boxer who starts a new chapter as a rookie officer in the special crime unit.
