PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional said work to restore power at Mid Valley City was being expedited after a fire at the main substation at the entrance at 10.27am on Wednesday (May 17).
It said the Fire and Rescue Services Department were working to put out the fire and its technical team was at the location.
“The fire at the substation disrupted the electricity supply to consumers in certain areas around Mid Valley and part of Desa Pantai,” it said in a statement today.
“The cause of the fire is being investigated and efforts are being taken to restore power.
Tenaga said it had taken immediate steps to restore power to half of the affected consumers as early as 10.55am, and is working to restore power to others.
