PHNOM PENH: It was a double happiness for Malaysia as sailing delivered two gold medals in the SEA Games.
Sailors Mohd Hafizin Mansor and Izry Hafiezy Fitry Azri bagged gold in the men’s windsurfing RS:X and RS:One events respectively at the Preah Sihanoukville in Cambodia on Monday (May 8).
It was the first time for Malaysia winning gold medals in these events.
With the duo’s contribution, sailing achieved their two-gold medal target in the Games.
Sailing was not contested at the last SEA Games in Hanoi last year. – The Star
