PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 6,239 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

In a Facebook post, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the total number of infections now stands at 633,891.

Selangor recorded the highest number of cases with 2,291.
This was followed by Kuala Lumpur (704), Negeri Sembilan (507), Johor (468), Sarawak (419), Kelantan (340), Sabah (232), Pahang (232), Labuan (200), Penang (194), Perak (175), Terengganu (171), Melaka (150), Kedah (135), Putrajaya (17) and Perlis (4).-FMT
