Kuala Lumpur, March 30 (The Capital Post)- Ramis Balakrishnan, the Negeri Sembilan Youth Leader of MIC have hit back at Norazura Abdul Karim, Head of Sungai Siput Puteri UMNO movement on giving away they Sungai Siput seat to UMNO in General Election 15 (GE15).

Yesterday Norazura have posted on her official Facebook account that since the first General Election, Sungai Siput has been represented by the MIC in every election. Starting with Tun V.T Sambanthan and the last Tun S Samy Vellu in 2008. Until now, for the last three GE terms, Sungai Siput is still unable to be won by MIC.
Replying to her post the MIC Negeri Sembilan Youth leader Ramis replied,”If that is the case, can UMNO give away the seat they have lost recently to MIC”.
“We should remember that Pakatan Harapan (PH) government collapsed due to the internal misunderstandings and issues,and we must never do the same”, he added.

“Where is the camaraderie among BN?, the votes must not only comes from MIC, it should have also flown from UMNO since we all competing under the BN banner”, he said.
He also stated that UMNO should take stern action on the Puteri UMNO Sungai Siput for releasing such disrespectful statements.
“In the first place, there should be not even a discussion on the seat of Sungai Siput since it have been traditionally contested by MIC”, Ramis Balakrishnan said.-The Capital Post
