Earlier today FMT have reported an article that KBS and MIC have not land a helping hand and unkept promises made for the ice skating future of Sree Abiramee.

In a press statement released by Theeagesh Ganesan, MIC Youth Secretary says “KBS through the National Sports Council on 12 January 2021 has already obtained tax exemption status for the Sree Abiramee Foundation and the purpose of this tax exemption status is to assist the efforts of Mr. Chenderen, the father to raise funds through public and corporate donations to finance the needs of Sree Abiramee.”

The officer from KBS also stated that the Minister of KBS YB Dato ‘Sri Reezal Merican also wrote to the Ambassador of Latvia to Malaysia, Normans Penke to obtain entry admission and visa for a period of 3 years from the Government of Latvia to train at Marupes International Figure Skating School for Sree Abiramee.

“At first I did not want to write about this matter as KBS and Sree Abiramee’s father had already been informed about these two matters but today I had to share this following Mr Chenderen’s allegation that KBS and MIC did not help them as reported by FMT”, says Theeagesh.

He added that the allegation made by Mr Chanderen is untrue and baseless because both KBS and MIC are constantly seeking various assistance for the future interests of Sree Abiramee.- The Capital Post
