KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 — Seven women of foreign nationalities and believed to be involved in prostitution activities were arrested by the police in raids at two premises offering massage services in Taman Usahawan Kepong here yesterday.
Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Saiful Annuar Yusoff said two local men aged 25 and 54, who are believed to be the caretakers of the premises, were also arrested in the raid, carried out under “Ops Noda”, which began at about 10.25 pm.
“The women, aged between 25 and 37, are from Vietnam and Thailand. All of them are found to have over-stayed in the country,” he said when met at the location.
All of them, including the two men, were then taken to the Sentul Police Station for further action. – BERNAMA
