PETALING JAYA: Restoration of water supply to the seven districts disrupted by the unscheduled water cuts since 2am on Monday (Oct 19) is well underway.
As of noon Wednesday (Oct 21), 90% of 1,292 affected areas have regained water supply, with Hulu Selangor fully restored and Kuala Selangor at 99.6%.
Water supply to the Petaling district and Kuala Lumpur are almost fully restored at 98% and 97% respectively.
The restoration progress for the remaining districts puts Gombak at 78%, Klang at 70% and Kuala Langat at 50%.
The latest update from Air Selangor said that 130 areas are still in the process of restoration.
Households that need an immediate water supply for emergency purposes, such as in the case of performing funeral rites, can contact 15300.
