PETALING JAYA: A total of 60.2% or 14,095,554 of the adult population have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, said the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV).
In an infographic on Twitter, the committee said 80.9% or 18,948,648 individuals have also received their first dose.
Meanwhile, 58% and 43.2% of the country’s population have received one dose and two doses of the vaccine, respectively.
A total of 408,295 doses were administered yesterday, of which 155,669 were first doses and 252,626 were second doses.
This brings the cumulative number of vaccinations administered through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 33,044,202 doses.
Labuan continued to record the highest vaccination rate with 92.9% of the adult population having completed two doses.
This was followed by the Klang Valley with 87.8%, Sarawak (86.3%) and Negeri Sembilan (75.5%).
The states with the lowest vaccination rates among the adult population were Sabah (35%), Kedah (41.3%) and Kelantan (42.2%).-FMT
