“This is because a number of individuals from the 17 taska are found to have been in contact with COVID-19 patients… the (temporary closure) is an early step to stop the transmission,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.

Seven of the 17 taska are in Kuala Nerus involving 527 children, four in Kuala Terengganu (635), two in Marang (141), two in Besut (109), one in Hulu Terengganu (60) and one in Dungun (35).

All the taska would be back in operation on Oct 14, Hanafiah said. -BERNAMA
